CCHB's Partial Hospitalization Program is a psycho-social
center that offers group therapy, medication evaluation, recreational
activities, art therapy, and community outings. The goal of the program is
to prevent hospitalization of consumers and to facilitate their
ability to reside independently in the community through the enhancement of
their daily living skills. The Crisis Stabilization
Program provides treatment and structured living arrangement to individuals
experiencing severe stress in their current environment. The program serves
as an alternative to hospitalization for individuals exhibiting psychotic
behavior and for persons assessed as incipiently psychotic. Consumers
treated at the center are engaged in a full schedule of treatment activities
to assist them in making a smooth transition back into the community. |
