Early Prevention and
Intervention (EPIP)

The HIV-Early Prevention and
Intervention Project is a collaborative service of CCHB and the Cincinnati
Drug and Poison Information Center. The focus of EPIP is training and
education to chemical dependency treatment staff and identified client
groups, to aid in preventing the transmission of HIV, other sexually
transmitted diseases (STD's) and tuberculosis (TB). EPIP services include
risk assessment, anonymous HIV antibody testing, pre and post testing
counseling, case management, client education, staff training, advocacy and
system development. |
